THE RE-DESIGN OF "IN AWE" BY SCOTT HOLMES
One of my personal favourite briefs and one I thoroughly enjoy in graphics is working with music.
Set by Alex Gilliot We were tasked with creating a stylish design for song cover. I took this opportunity to tune in my inner personal love for music by shooting a range off pictures in my own car at night.
The light and mellow atmosphere this song brings fits perfect to the design I chose fitting with the theme of a ’late night drive’.
Within this process I used a range off techniques , most noticeably the use off the burn tool on photoshop , I duplicated my picture with a lowered opacity to create a blurred in motion effect. I then used ’dafont’ to find and utilse a new unlicensed bold sanserif to create this stand out text quoted ‘in awe’
